Understandable in any language. "Don’t let Fido off the leash or he might turn our chickens into weiner schnitzel."
We found this sign at a valley filled with old farms. 35 years ago a visionary Austrian man started buying old farm houses from all over the Tirol, and relocating them to a quiet valley near Worgl.
It is now a living museum where you can explore the old buildings, in their original state, as they would have looked when farming families lived in them over 100 years ago. The fences are also in the old styles, including one with no wire or nails or fastenings of any kind - according to Elfriede only the old people still know how to build them.
An interesting insight into how much work has been done to Zinting and other houses to make them suitable for modern expectations. Life was hard back then. We have it good!
