Sleeping on a sheep

Over dinner, Elfriede told us about their recent holiday in Ireland. She said they “slept on a sheep”.

Really?”, we said, wondering if this was some exclusive tourism venture that appealed only to home-sick farmers.

After much sign language and laughter we worked out what she meant. They had “slept on a ship”. Ah! Not so exclusive but it does make more sense.
