For our overnight stopover in Munich – between the train and the plane– we choose the five star Sofitel. Ahhh luxury! A massage in the spa, a sauna, a swim, room service and a movie. I feel all squeaky clean. We were going to take the train to Nice but it all seemed a bit too onerous so we ditched that idea and booked a flight on Lufthansa instead. By this afternoon we will be sipping French Champagne on the Cote d’Azur.
